What MANNERA is

MANNERA is a written field guide, with accompanying audio recordings, about social convention in Japan. It is not a language course, a travel booking service, or professional advice of any kind.

It describes how things are commonly understood. People differ, situations differ, and nothing here guarantees a particular outcome.

Before launch

MANNERA is not yet on sale. Joining the early list costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and is not an order.

Buying MANNERA

At launch, MANNERA will be sold through a merchant of record, who will be the seller of your purchase and will handle payment, invoicing and tax. Their terms will apply to the transaction alongside these terms.

Access is granted to you personally. You may print the guide for your own use. You may not resell it, share your access, or republish any part of it.

Refunds and the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason.

MANNERA is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you will be asked to consent expressly to that immediate supply and to acknowledge that, once access has been opened, you lose the right of withdrawal. If you do not give that consent, access begins after the fourteen-day period instead.

Outside those cases, if the guide is not what was described, write to us at info@mannerajapan.com and we will refund you.

Updates

Purchase includes twelve months of updates. The guide is reviewed each quarter. We may correct, expand or reorganise it in that time.
